Hey guys! Two things that are interrelated!

So slashcast is doing fandom resolutions! If you have a new year's resolution for fandom (e.g. "I want to comment more on the fic I read" or "I want to write more fic outside of fests, exchanges, or big bangs" - both of which are resolutions I have for the new year :)), then you should head over here and let us know! In line with that... one of the resolutions I have is to write more fic - not for fests, not for exchanges, no for big bangs - just because. Which... I just did! It's a short little apocalyptic Glee ensemble fic (3000 words) with all canon pairings (but my Pezberry-shipping heart wasn't able to keep the tiniest hint of Rachel/Santana out of it, so there are allusions to that, too) inspired by a comment by Dr. She Bloggo, and it's at my A03 account. it's mah birfday! i slept in all the way till ten am this morning (remember, i'm still at gmt+3) and when i woke up, my host family'd left the most adorable card (and gifts, two different handwoven-by-some-random-kenyan containers which are super awesome), wherein my host sister wrote BE SMOOTH LIKE THE AVATAR~ because we've been marathoning avatar: the last airbender like it's our business for the past week and a half and aahhhh, so adorable. and i finally worked out plans! I AM GOING TO THE CINEMA. i miss going to the cinema. i haven't done that yet in kenya, so i'm pretty stoked.




ANYWAY. i have been thinking for a while about how i want to kickstart the current itch i've been having to write (but which i, of course, have not yet... acted on), SO. I AM GOING TO DRABBLE FOR YOU GUYS. use either the 'fandom, character/pairing, prompt' format or the 'five times....' format, i don't care. use any format! my current fandoms are: Harry Potter always and forever, Glee, Wizards of Waverly Place, Princess Protection Program (so... anything selena's been in, basically), Disney RPF :|, Avatar: the last Airbender (TV SHOW ONLY), Hunger Games trilogy, and hey, let's throw in Cruel Intentions and Buffy today, I'm feeling myself some Sarah Michelle. I'm not up to date on the current seasons of 30 Rock or How I Met Your Mother but would be willing to try my hand at either! I am up to date on Dexter, so why not, I'll throw that into the mix, too. I also accept crossovers. I DON'T KNOW, GUYS, I JUST WANT TO GIVE YOU A LOT OF OPTIONS. please participate! I really want to like, force myself back into ficwriting~

Premise Holds & Application Rules Cast Organization January 2003. Harry and his classmates have been out of school for four and a half years. They have careers, homes, adult lives. But, by virtue of the fact that the Boy Who Lived was among their ranks, by virtue of the fact that the Battle of Hogwarts was fought largely by them on both sides, they still enjoy considerable prestige within the wizarding world. Though things have brightened considerably since Voldemort’s demise, all has not been perfect. Slowly weakened by an irreversible wasting curse cast during the battle, one of their ranks is now a ghost, haunting the halls of Hogwarts until justice has been served for the lower-ranking magical creatures who work there. Others have brought corruption to the Ministry, while still more have found themselves in unhappy relationships or unsatisfying careers. In an attempt to remind themselves of their place in magical history amid such unpleasantness, this graduating class has made a choice no other has before: to stage a get-together at Hogwarts five years after their education was completed - in Muggle parlance, a “reunion.” It’s a chance for them to relive the good, the bad, and the terrifying of their school days. A chance for them to enjoy the peaceful Hogwarts they rarely got to experience as students. reunited_rp is a post-Hogwarts trio-era RPG that is partially epilogue-compliant on a basis to be determined by the players.
